Look out Lady Goo Goo, um, Ga Ga. Look out Madonna. Here comes Mia Mei.
Yesterday, I made my public to boot. (Ed: debut).
Last Friday was my birthday. I turned 4. That’s all the fingers on one hand minus the thumb for those who don’t know how many that is.
Anyway, I was call up front and they sang Happy Birthday to me. Surprise! Surprise! But the biggest surprise was they asked me if I wanted to sing.
“Who? Me? Sing?!?!” Are they crazy? <= Means I
My mommy told me a story once of when somebody asked her on the purse of the moment (Ed: spur of the moment) if she wanted to read a verse from the Bible in public.
Same response from my mommy. “Who? Me? Read?”
I know EXACTLY how my mommy felt.
Well, I sang. It’ll take a couple of days for me to get the video and put it here. But, don’t hold your breath. Everybody still had their socks on when I was done. Even Daddy. Which is a good thing. Because you should smell his feet. (Ed: Mia!!)
I thought to share what I think are the steps to music stardom. Remember, I am only 4-years old so you can take it for what it’s worth.
Step 1. Practice
Step 2. Make a video
Step 3. Get some feedback
Step 4. Practice
Step 5. Mustard (Ed: Muster) up some nerve
Step 6. Get up front and sing.
Well, I practice all the time. Even singing radio jungles, um, jingles on the way to school. And I have my first music video recording.
Here it is. And I hope you like it.
Your turn now to give me feedback.
